Advocacy
Through advocacy we promote migration policies that respect human dignity, protect fundamental rights, and foster inclusion. Rooted in the direct experience of the Scalabrinian network across Europe and Africa, our work combines policy monitoring, research, institutional dialogue, and collaboration with civil society.
By amplifying the voices of people on the move and documenting realities along migration routes and in host communities, we contribute to evidence-based debate and advances concrete proposals for more just and humane approaches to human mobility.
Fundraising
We promote fundraising as a strategic tool to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of its projects. We build transparent and trust-based relationships with partners, donors, and institutions, working together to support initiatives that respond to real needs on the ground.
Through shared planning and continuous dialogue, fundraising becomes not only a means of resource mobilization, but a collaborative process that strengthens programs, empowers local actors, and ensures continuity in the protection of people on the move.
Defending Human Rights in Human Mobility
Our work is inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and related international human rights instruments.
In order to provide a clearer and more coherent overview of our actions, we organized our projects and initiatives into thematic focus areas that reflect an integrated interpretation of the Declaration’s principles, developed in response to the concrete realities of human mobility. Each focus area brings together projects and activities that relate to one or more rights, translating these rights into advocacy, research, and field-based actions across Africa, Europe, and the Mediterranean.
